Veterinary Nurses
Suzy Wood
Suzy has been with the practice since 1997, and qualified in 2000. Suzy is Head of Nursing and runs our nurse clinic programme. She is also a qualified NVQ Assessor and Assesses our trainee Nurses. Suzy has also gained her C-SQP award for dispensing.
Lana Goulding
Lana has been with the practice since 2003 and has been qualified 18 years. As well as being skilled in cytology, her special interest is in Nutrition and she runs our weekly weight clinic. Lana is the Practice Administrator dealing with Pet Insurance claims and PDSA Petaid. Lana also has the C-SQP award and recently gained her BSc degree.
Mary Steele
Mary has been with the practice since 2002, and qualified in 2004. Mary is the practice Laboratory Officer and has also gained her C-SQP award for dispensing.
Alison Coulter
Alison has been with the practice since 2005. She joined us as a receptionist and gained her certificate in Veterinary Reception. However, in 2008 she has undertook her Nursing finals after a break from Vet Nursing of 6 years, and is now qualified. She has an interest in surgery and hopes to take a Diploma in Surgical Nursing. She has a particular interest in assisting orthopaedic operations.
Laura White
Laura joined the practice in 1996 as bookkeeper, she went on to qualify as a Veterinary Nurse in 1999. She is our other qualified NVQ Assessor, has gained her C-SQP status. In 2008 she was awarded a City & Guilds Licentiateship in Veterinary Nursing, and is currently undertaking a Certificate in Business Development [NCert [BDev]]. Laura is Practice Manager and Co-Director of Claremont Veterinary Group.
Ruth Hubbard
Ruth has this summer passed her finals and is now qualified. She likes all aspects of practice including client education and has been with the practice since 2007 having previously studied animal management.
Louise Bryant
Louise has just started her second year nurse training. She has also been with us since 2007 having joined the practice as an Animal Care assistant.
